The Asmita Khelo India Shooting Ball Women’s League 2025–26 concluded successfully at IDPS Juniors , Jammu , Jammu and Kashmir on 13th December 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 13 teams representing different schools showcasing remarkable talent and sportsmanship.

The league was formally declared open by Ms. Anuradha Thakur, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, who graced the opening ceremony as the Chief Guest accompanied by Mrs. Randeep Wazir - Principal of IDPS, Jammu as Guest of Honour.

After a series of competitive matches, Doon International School emerged as the champions, securing the first position. The second position was bagged by KB Public School, while DBN Mubarak Mandi claimed the third position.

The valedictory function was graced by Shri Rajeev Sharma, Member J&K Sports Council as the Chief Guest. Dr. Suminder Singh - President of the Shooting Ball Association of Jammu and Kashmir and Managing Director, IDPS Jammu, attended as the Guest of Honour. Dr. K. C. Mehta, Dean Academics, IDPS Akhnoor, was present as the Special Guest. Dr. Puneet Gupta, General Secretary, Shooting Ball Association of Jammu and Kashmir served as the Chairman of the Organising Committee. Ms. Madhu Abrol - School Manager, IDPS Jammu, was an integral part of the organising team.

Shri Rajeev Sharma appreciated the efforts of the organisers and the performance of the athletes. He announced the distribution of tracksuits to every athlete who participated in the Asmita Khelo India Women’s League as a gesture of encouragement and support for women’s sports.

The event concluded on a high note, reinforcing the commitment to promoting women’s participation and excellence in sports across Jammu and Kashmir.
