From Central Mongolia to the wild West, we friends travelled in a rugged Russian van covering more than 2000kms over two weeks through the Orkhon Valley, Kharakhorin, Khyargas Lake, Khorgo Volcano, and into the land of eagle hunters and glaciers. Every frame in this film is a memory I’ll carry forever.

Returning from Nelliyampathy, the forest surprised us with a rare and unforgettable sight — Chilli Komban, the legendary tusker of these hills 🐘🌿.

Known for his long, distinctive tusks and his majestic, calm confidence, he’s a true symbol of the wild here.

Though his size and presence can feel intense, he’s not known to attack people — mostly just peacefully roaming the forest. At first we were a bit nervous, but as we paused and watched him in silence, we realized how calm he truly was — a powerful reminder that we are only visitors, and these forests belong to their majestic, rightful owners.

✨The Qutb shahi tombs are one of Hyderabad's most under rated gems.
Visiting these tombs feels like a walk into history. These tombs were built hundreds of years ago for the kings of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. The big domes, tall minarets, and detailed carvings show a mix of different styles of architecture. The place is peaceful, surrounded by gardens, and each corner has a story to tell about Hyderabad’s royal past.

Guardians of an ancient tradition ✨️

High in the windswept Altai Mountains of western Mongolia, Kazakh eagle hunters have kept a 1,000-year-old tradition alive — hunting on horseback with golden eagles.

These majestic birds are trained from a young age to hunt foxes and hares during the harsh winter months. The bond between hunter and eagle runs deep, built over years of trust, patience, and skill. After several seasons, the eagles are released back into the wild — free to soar once more.

In a world rushing forward, this timeless partnership between human and raptor reminds us of a slower rhythm — one guided by nature, respect, and resilience.
