The very unfortunate attack on tourists in Pahalgam is absolutely shameful and inexcusable.
It stands as a heartbreaking reminder of the ongoing challenges in the path toward lasting peace in Kashmir.
Kashmir isn’t just a place on the map. It’s an emotion, a culture, and a home for millions. And Pahalgam — with its lush meadows, pristine rivers, and welcoming people — has long stood as a symbol of that beauty.
This attack aims to dim that light.
We must stand united — for justice, for the safety of every innocent life, and for a future where such cowardly acts find no place in our society.
