The monsoon is the season of pouring rain and intense emotions: love and longing, hope and fear, pleasure and pain, devotion and joyous excess.

മിഴികളിൽ ഇടതൂർന്ന സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾക്ക് ചിറക് മുളച്ചത് മഴക്കാലത്ത് ആയിരുന്നു.. മനസ്സിൽ അടക്കി വെച്ച കഥകളുടെ ഭാരം ഓരോവർഷവും തുള്ളികളായി എന്നിലേക്ക് പെയ്തിറങ്ങി.... പേമാരി കൾക്ക് ശക്തി പ്രാപിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഞാനെന്റെ അസ്വസ്ഥതകളെ പ്രണയിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. എന്നിലേക്ക് ആഴത്തിൽ കടന്ന അവൾ എന്റെ കാമുകി യായി.. അതെ അവളുടെ പേരായിരുന്നു ....മഴ!!

Sree Chinakkathoor Bhagavathy Temple hosts one of the most unique and colourful poorams (temple festivals) in Kerala. Situated in Palappuram near Ottapalam Taluk, this festival draws in people in large numbers annually. It is celebrated on Makam asterism in the Malayalam month of Kumbham. One is treated to some of the best folk art performances that Kerala has. Majestic elephants marching through the streets are among the best sights seen during this pooram. The accompanying panchavadyam and pandimelam (traditional orchestra) add to the grand spectacle. Pulikali performances are also seen along with the constant beat of drums reverberating through the air. People of all religions and castes come together to celebrate this great occasion every single year
