15 Injured in Bus Accident in Jammu

​Jammu, Aug 23 (KNC): At least 15 passengers were injured after a bus veered off the road and crashed into a field in Kalyana village of Jammu district on Saturday.

​An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner --- KNC that the bus was on its way to Jammu from Arnia when the accident occurred. All 15 passengers on board sustained injuries.

​The injured were immediately shifted to a local hospital for treatment.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation started. (KNC)

Mother of Former Div Com Kashmir Passes Away in Srinagar

Srinagar: The Samoon family has announced the demise of Begum Tajun Nisa, the esteemed wife of the late Molvi Muhammad Anwar Samoon and the mother of Asghar Samoon (former Divisional Commissioner Kashmir), Baqar Hassan Samoon (IPS), and Safdar Hamid Hassan Samoon (SSP).

Begum Tajun Nisa passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday evening at 8:20 PM. She was widely respected for her grace, piety, and dignified presence.

The family has requested friends, relatives, and well-wishers to attend the prayers and remember the departed soul in their duas.
The bereaved family has expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the support and prayers during this time of loss.

May Allah (SWT) grant the departed soul eternal peace, forgive her shortcomings, and elevate her to the highest ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous. May He also grant patience and strength to the grieving family.
