Frames from our Lafa ad film, art directed by Rajvi Sheth, with our lovely LAFA collaborators, Sonj and Divya Desai.

Every artist had a completely different character, and we loved building each tabletop around their world from the little details to the overall mood of each frame.

We stayed hands-on with this one from start to finish.
We spent time in studio, shooting over multiple visits, sitting with the work, refining, coming back, and letting the project reveal itself as we went. What started as portraits slowly grew into artwork documentation, catalogue images, and eventually a website with a UI/UX that felt true to his practice.
P.S. still managed to leave her fingerprints on this project, even from afar. 🤍

APEHAUS WENT STREET.

A heat wave, a packed schedule, and a crew that somehow made it all feel easy.

Just a bunch of people passing around umbrellas, carrying each other’s gear, sharing water bottles, melting under a brutal summer sun, and somehow still finding reasons to laugh.

The thing we love most about shoots isn’t the final frame. It’s watching a team become a tiny ecosystem for a day. Directors holding reflectors. Clients holding umbrellas. Creatives moving props. DOPs carrying chairs. Everyone doing whatever needs to be done.

Because great work rarely comes from hierarchy.
It comes from people showing up for each other.

The final film is only half the story. This is the other half.
