Minister Mauvin Godinho assured that the government will address the staff shortage in the South Goa Zilla Panchayat by creating and filling vacant posts. He also stated that surplus staff from elsewhere will be transferred, and land for constructing the Zilla Bhavan is currently being identified.

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated that under the Ease of Doing House Number (EHN) initiative, many homeowners have started paying house and garbage tax, received house numbers, and are now eligible to apply for regularisation if their homes were built before 2014. He added that the government will soon introduce legislation to prevent future illegal constructions.
