The Corporation of the City of Panaji has made it mandatory for all bulk waste generators to register under the newly introduced SWM Rules 2026.
Residents are now required to segregate their waste into four categories: wet, dry, sanitary, and special care. Officials have cautioned that non-compliance with these guidelines will result in strict penalties and fines.
