Hry, které jsem nedohrál / Games I Didn't Finish

Vzhledem k tomu, jak často se ve svých projektech vztahuji k počítačovým hrám, je až ostudné, jak málo jsem jich skutečně dohrál. Většinu her, co znám, jsem viděl dohrát mého bráchu. Sám jsem je vždycky rozehrál, ale nevytrval jsem. Brácha měl náskok a mě bavilo se dívat.
Jsou to přibližně dva roky, co jsem se rozhodl tento deficit napravit. Uběhla už dostatečná doba na to, abych zapomněl zápletky jednotlivých her a jak dopadnou. Nainstaloval jsem několik starších titulů a začal hrát. Nedohrál jsem ani jednu.
Obecně bývají starší hry obtížnější, než současné tituly, ale to nebyl ten hlavní důvod. Neuvědomil jsem si, jak důležitý byl pro mě coby hráče fakt, že se mi někdo dívá přes rameno. Proto jsem se rozhodl můj další pokus o to samé - dohrát staré hry - pravidelně streamovat.

Budu rád, motivuji-li svým streamem některé z vás k podobnému návratu. Stejně tak, povede-li se mi více zpřístupnit spektrum her, které byly aktuální během mého dětství, a které se z části už vůbec nehrají.
Nicméně nečekejte přednášky z dějin herního designu - výběr her vychází z mé osobní paměti a doptávání se vrstevníků. Alespoň tak ale dojde i na celosvětově méně významné, lokální tituly, jako jsou např. zmiňované české adventury. Napadne-li vás nějaká hra, které by se dala zařadit, určitě mi napište, budu postupně budovat jejich seznam.

Streamovat budu zde na Facebooku, na stránce "make your dreams come backyard" (nebo jaké zrovna bude její jméno). Jelikož Facebook umožňuje vysílat ve vysokém rozlišení (Full-HD) jen stránkám, které mají alespoň 100 sledujících, poprosil bych vás v tomto o podporu. Zároveň vám tak alespoň neuniknou jednotlivé streamy, které budou na stránce zveřejňovány jako plánovaná živá vysílání.

Given how often I relate to computer games in my projects, it's a shame how few I've actually finished. I've seen most of the games I know finished by my brother. I always started playing them but never persevered. My brother was ahead and I enjoyed watching.
It's been about two years since I decided to fix this deficit. Enough time has passed for me to forget the plots of individual games and how they will turn out. I installed a few older titles and started playing. I didn't finish one.
In general, older games tend to be more difficult than current titles, but that wasn't the main reason. I didn't realize how important it was for me as a player that someone was looking over my shoulder. That's why I decided to stream my next attempt at the same thing - to finish old games - regularly.
I start tomorrow (Sunday, May 24) at seven in the evening and you can look forward to the Black Mirror with me - a legendary Czech adventure with a great atmosphere and story, perfectly suited to the current weather. I will be happy if my stream motivates some of you to return similarly. Likewise, if I can make more accessible the range of games that were relevant during my childhood and that are no longer played at all.
However, don't expect lectures on the history of game design - the choice of games is based on my personal memory and me asking my peers. At least that way, the less importand and local titles will be included, such as the aforementioned Czech adventures. If you come up with a game that could be included, be sure to write to me, I will gradually build a list of them.

I will stream here on Facebook, on the page "make your dreams come backyard" (or whatever her name will be). Since Facebook only allows you to broadcast in high definition (Full-HD) on sites with at least 100 followers, I would ask you for support in this. At the same time, you will at least not miss the individual streams, which will be published on the site as scheduled live broadcasts.
