With an ambition to make a difference in the society and contribute to the nation building on a larger level, Rakesh Kumar Pandey joined Bhartiya Janta Party in the year 2003. Social Work, Youth Empowerment, Poverty Alleviation and Nation Building are the stuffs he is made for. Uplifting the life of poor and challenging the Status Quo is what drives him more. As if this all wa

s very less in his hot pursuit to his ambitions, he enthusiastically established an NGO named "Proud Nation" in the year 2010 and served as a founder member cm National President of the same to fulfill his ambitions further. Born in a middle class family, he was not offered anything on a silver platter. For each and everything substantial in life, he suffered and struggled to face the challenges of life like any other common man. His life journey can be best summarized as a grassroot leader and a Messiah for the poor and the youth of the country.

प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य के अतिरिक्त झील में तैरता भूखंड एक आश्चर्य है। झील में तैर रही पृथ्वी के इस बेडे को स्थानीय भाषा में टाहला कहते हैं। बच्चों से बूढ़ो तक के लिए यह आश्चर्य है क्योंकि यह झील में इधर से उधर टहलता है। झील के किनारे आकर्षक पैगोडा शैली में निर्मित मंदिर है, जिसे १४वीं शताब्दी में मंडी रियासत के राजा बाणसेन ने बनवाया था। कला संस्कृति प्रेमी पर्यटक मंदिर प्रांगण में बार-बार जाते हैं। कहा जाता है कि जिस स्थान पर मंदिर है वहां ऋषि पराशर ने तपस्या की थी।
