A courtroom drama which satirizes the notion of the Indian legal system, the story follows Jagdishwar Mishra (Kumar), a lawyer who fights a case against the ruthless and powerful lawyer Sachin Mathur (Kapoor).

Hrithik Roshan was born on 10 January 1974 in Mumbai into a Punjabi family. He has attended the Bombay Scottish School and later Sydenham College, where he did his Bachelors in Commerce. He received critical acclaim for his performance in Jodhaa Akbar, for which he received his first "International Award" at the Golden Minbar International Film Festival. Hrithik has done many commercials like Sony Ericsson, Mountain Dew, Acer and many more.

Kaabil (English: Capable) is an upcoming 2017 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Sanjay Gupta, written by Vijay Kumar Mishra, produced by Rakesh Roshan under his banner FilmKraft Productions.It features a love affair between two blind people, played by Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam. Music is composed by Rajesh Roshan. Principal photography of the film began on 30 March 2016.

Sanjay Gupta announced the film officially in January 2016 with Hrithik Roshan portraying the lead role, Rakesh Roshan producing the project and Rajesh Roshan composing the film score. Yami Gautam was confirmed to play the lead heroine while brothers Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy will play negative role in the film.

The film is produced by Rakesh Roshan under his production house under FilmKraft Productions Pvt. Ltd. Rajesh Roshan will compose the music and Salim–Sulaiman giving background music to the film and Resul Pookutty for the film's sound design. The cinematography will be done by Sudeep Chatterjee and Ayananka Bose.

The movie is slated to release on 25 January 2017.
