On the occasion of Dyslexia Awareness Month, a roundtable conference on the topic of was organized today, October 23, 2024, at Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan, Patna, in collaboration with the ChangeInk Foundation.
The event saw participation from over 15 organizations including A.K. Creation, Dost Learning Foundation, Piramal, PCI, along with parents and children. During the program, Dr. Tapas Ranjan Roy, State Program Manager of ChangeInk, discussed the identification of children with dyslexia and the appropriate support they need. Kilkari children also participated in a poster-making and slogan-writing competition on dyslexia, and those who performed well were awarded by Kilkari Bal Bhavan.
All participating organizations committed to promoting educational inclusion for children with dyslexia within their respective work areas. Following the conference, a Dyslexia Awareness Walk was organized from Kilkari Bal Bhavan to the main gate of the Bihar Education Project via Arvind Mahila College. Over 150 representatives from various organizations, parents, and children participated in the walk. The Kilkari staff and trainers provided excellent support during the event, which was also attended by Manjeet Singh, Syed, Ramashankar Singh, Dr. Neeraj, Sai Swarup, and Saurabh Prakash.
