Reading a book makes me feel complete, especially when the book is related to life.

Death, written by Sadhguru is one of my recent book picks. In this book, Sadhguru has put his insightful thoughts on one of the most fearful subjects DEATH, about which we don't even like to talk.

He says "No two people in the world live their lives the same way. Similarly, no two people die the same way. People may die in the same situation, of the same cause, but still they don't die the same way. "

The book allows you to dive deep into each of his sayings. Every page and sentence will compel you to ponder on the process of death.

I must say, the book demands a considerable amount of time to be spent reading it. It contains an abundance of information and knowledge that cannot be absorbed in one go.

Doesn't matter, if you are a follower of and Isha foundation, or not. I highly recommend giving this book a read. It encourages self-reflection & helps you to gain a better understanding of yourself.

Some books are evergreen. And first launched in 1997, The God of Small Things (which won the Booker Prize, 1997) is one of them. Arundhati Roy has written various pieces, but this one is epic.

I love the way the story began and ended by breaking all the love laws that say who should be loved, and how. And how much. Undoubtedly, the flow of the story engages you with it.

The sad story effectively cloaks the socially unacceptable love infront of you by cutting through the clothes of nationality, casteism, and religion.

Furthermore, the book lets you know how circumstances created by elders impact the lives of kids.

Arundhati Roy's The God of Small Things, or say The God of Loss, reveals humanity's bare bones as never before and can never be again. Because magic only happens once.
