Whenever I plan to eat out I end up narrowing down a place serving delicious home style fish thali, of course my indulgence with European food remains unaltered though.
Still if I have to choose between the two, I will probably go for a thali for the day time and something like a chicken steak or a baked fish for the night !
But my regular order while traveling remains regional cuisines and especially thalis supplemented by a bowl of fish or chicken curry, and a slice of fried fish with an authentic touch from the state!
I happen to fall for the moist and lusciously flavoured lean protein flesh since very young days 😁
One of the dangers of being deeply involved in any field is becoming obsessive, an unlovely habit since obsessions can become blinkers. With food, people are entitled to their different interests, but it’s always seemed limiting to me to assume that just one kind is good, when the fact is that all kinds of food, both expensive and inexpensive can have their own purpose and value. And when it comes to fresh catch, local ingredients and farm produce, I think I can give up on any fancy food ✨
