*Water Supply Suspended for Fifteen Days, Residents of Dingla and Janyar Facing Severe Hardships*

Poonch: The residents of Dingla and Janyar Panchayats in the border district of Poonch have been deprived of water from the Lift Water Supply Scheme for the past fifteen days, causing serious difficulties in obtaining drinking water.
According to local sources, the water supply has been completely disrupted due to the burnout of the transformer attached to the Lift Water Supply Scheme. Residents stated that they have repeatedly informed the concerned authorities about the issue, but no effective steps have yet been taken to restore the water supply.
Speaking to media representatives, the locals said that the lack of such a basic necessity as water has severely affected their daily lives. They appealed to the Deputy Commissioner Poonch and the Jal Shakti Department to immediately restore the Lift Water Supply Scheme and replace the damaged transformer at the earliest.
The residents warned that if the issue is not resolved promptly, they will be compelled to stage protests and sit-ins on the roads, for which the concerned department and administration will be held responsible.
