Restricted Water Supply In Parts Of Tiswadi And Ponda On May 13 & 14

The Department of Drinking Water has announced restricted water supply in parts of Tiswadi and Ponda talukas on May 13 and 14 due to urgent interconnection work between 700 mm and 600 mm diameter conveying main pipelines at St. Francis Xavier’s Chapel, Portais, Bhatlem, Panaji.

According to the department, the affected areas in Tiswadi Taluka include Defence establishments and Goa Medical College, while parts of Ponda Taluka including Keri, Savoi-Verem and Madkai will also face restricted water supply.

Sankalp Amonkar Inspects Landslide-Prone NH-566 Stretch At Bogda

Sankalp Amonkar joined a site inspection convened by the Dy. Collector, Mormugao, along with various authorities at the landslide-prone stretch along NH-566 at Bogda, where slope stabilisation works are currently being carried out by NHAI.
