Key Friday Morning & General Duas
Start with Praise & Blessings: Begin by praising Allah (SWT) and sending peace/blessings (Salawat) on Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
Ayatul Kursi (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:255): A powerful protection dua for morning and night.
Arabic: اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ... (Allah! There is no god but He, the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal...).
Specific Friday Morning Dua (from Mafatih):
أَصْبَحْتُ فِي ذِمَّةِ ٱللَّهِ وَذِمَّةِ مَلاَئِكَتِهِ وَذِمَمِ أَنْبِيَائِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ عَلَيهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ وَذِمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَذِمَمِ ٱلأَوْصِيَاءِ مِنَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ آمَنْتُ بِسِرِّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ وَعَلاَنِيَتِهِمْ وَظَاهِرِهِمْ وَبَاطِنِهِمْ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُمْ فِي عِلْمِ ٱللَّهِ وَطَاعَتِهِ
Translation: "I begin this morning in the protection of Allah, the protection of His angels, the protection of His prophets and messengers... the protection of Muhammad... and the protections of the Successors... I believe in the secrets of Muhammad's progeny... and their open affairs, their exoteric and esoteric... and I bear witness they are in Allah's knowledge and obedience".
General Duas for Blessings: Ask for forgiveness, mercy, good health, and provision (Rizq).
Example: "O Allah, grant us a share of Your mercy, forgiveness for our sins, and accept our prayers on this blessed day. Ameen".
Tips for Effective Friday Duas
Consistency: Make these remembrances a regular habit on Fridays.
Focus: Be present, ask clearly, and have sincere trust in Allah (SWT).
Best Times: The time after Asr prayer until Maghrib (sunset) is considered a highly potent time for dua acceptance on Friday.
