On the orders of High Court, felling of apple orchards planted by the occupiers on forest land has started.

*BJP Youth Incharge District Pulwama Shakir Ahmed Extends Eid-ul-Adha Greetings, Calls for Peace and Unity*

Srinagar, June 06:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir District Youth Incharge Pulwama has extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of the country on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

In a statement, Shakir said Eid-ul-Adha is a festival that symbolises sacrifice, devotion, and compassion. He urged people to celebrate the festival with a spirit of unity and brotherhood, while remembering the less fortunate.

“May this Eid bring peace, prosperity, and harmony to every household. Let us uphold the values of sacrifice and service to humanity that this festival teaches us,” Shakir said.

He also prayed for continued peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir, and hoped that the festival would further strengthen the social fabric of the region.

Subject: Request for Temporary Closure of Shaheed Park or Deployment of Security Personnel (Eid UL Adha)

Respected Sir,

I, Shakir Ahmad, BJP Genral secretary Pulwama Constituency and District President of Rashtriya Sahayata Sangathan RSS , would like to bring to your kind attention the growing concerns regarding Shaheed Park, located in the main market of Pulwama.

In recent (EID) days, a number of incidents have been reported where youth from different villages engage in quarrels and disruptive activities in the park. There have also been instances of harassment towards girls, which is creating an unsafe environment for visitors. As a concerned citizen and witness to such incidents, I fear that if appropriate action is not taken, the situation may escalate and lead to serious law-and-order issues.

In light of these concerns, I kindly request you to either temporarily close Shaheed Park for a few days or deploy police personnel to maintain order and ensure the safety of the public. Taking such steps will greatly benefit the peace and security of District Pulwama.

I hope you will take immediate action on this matter.
