It has come to our attention that fake currency notes are currently being circulated in the market. A recent incident involved a friend who was traveling from Islamabad Anantnag to Srinagar in a Sumo taxi. During the journey, the driver returned a fake ₹100 note as part of the change.

We urge everyone to please be extra cautious when handling cash, especially smaller denominations like ₹100, as these counterfeit notes may be in wide circulation. Always double-check the authenticity of any currency you receive, whether it's from shops, public transport, or any other transaction.
