Happy Teachers’ Day.
Colourful Teachers’ Day Celebration Held at Zone Headquarters Balakote
A colourful and memorable Teachers’ Day programme was organized today at GMS Hisab, Zone Headquarters Balakote, to celebrate the dedication, commitment and invaluable contribution of teachers towards society and the nation.
The programme was presided over by Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Balakote, Madam Nishat Akhtar Ji, while Mr. Natiq Hussain Shah, Cluster Head and Principal, HSS Dhargloon, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The programme was also attended by ZEPO Balakote Madam Nishat Akhtar Ji, ZPEO Naeem Khan, and Vice Principal Higher Secondary School Dhargloon, Mr. Chaudhary Iftikhar sb.
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Zonal President Balakote, Mr. Kaleem Khan, attended the programme as a prominent guest. The proceedings of the event were conducted by UT Chief Organizer, Jammu & Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum, Mr. Khalil Khan.
The programme commenced with the National Anthem, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, which added a special significance and dignity to the occasion.
Teachers from all the clusters of Zone Balakote participated enthusiastically in the programme and highlighted the importance of Teachers’ Day. A large number of teachers, masters and students from different schools also participated in the celebrations.
Teachers and students of KGBV Balakote also participated and presented a colourful cultural programme. Several teachers from the Border Belt, along with Mr. Anayat Ullah Khan, attended the event and shared their valuable views.
Teachers from the Manjhari Belt also participated in the programme. In particular, Zone Balakote General Secretary Mr. Naseer Khan delivered an address and paid tribute to the teaching fraternity for their dedication and services.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Natiq Hussain Shah, Principal Higher Secondary School Dhargloon, highlighted the significance of Teachers’ Day and the responsibilities of teachers. He placed special emphasis on Value Education and urged teachers to teach children with dedication and sincerity, as they are the future of the country.
Thereafter, Mr. Anayat Khan, Mr. Naseer Khan, Mr. Muhammad Yousuf, Mr. Muhammad Khan, Mr. Rauf Azam Khan, Mr. Sadiq Khan, Mr. Muhammad Waheed Khan, Mr. Chaudhary Sarfaraz, Mr. Kaleem Khan and Mr. Khalil Khan addressed the gathering and extended their heartfelt greetings to all teachers on Teachers’ Day.
Several other teachers also spoke on the occasion and congratulated the teaching fraternity. Students delivered speeches as well and expressed their respect and gratitude towards their teachers.
Appreciation Certificates Presented
As a special part of the Teachers’ Day celebrations, Appreciation Certificates were presented to teachers who have been performing exceptionally well and contributing towards the betterment of education in the Zone.

The awardees were congratulated for their hard work, dedication and sincere services to the Department of Education. The efforts of all other teachers were also appreciated, as every teacher is playing an important role in guiding, educating and shaping the future of children.
It is worth mentioning that Teachers’ Day was celebrated for the first time at the Zone Headquarters Balakote. The successful organization of this memorable event was made possible through the sincere efforts and hard work of Zonal President Balakote Mr. Kaleem Khan and UT Chief Organizer JK Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum Mr. Khalil Khan.
It was also resolved that next year’s Teachers’ Day celebration will be organized on an even larger scale with greater enthusiasm and grandeur.
Presidential Address and Conclusion
The programme concluded with the Presidential Address by Zonal Education Officer Balakote, Madam Nishat Akhtar Ji, who extended heartfelt Teachers’ Day greetings to all the teachers and appreciated their dedication, hard work and valuable contribution towards the education sector.
The colourful and memorable programme concluded on a happy note. Thereafter, lunch was served to the participants, following which the teachers, along with the officers and guests, departed for their respective homes with great happiness and pleasant memories of the occasion.
