🚨 Digital Scam Alert : Deepfake Ads Misusing Sadhguru’s Identity

In a disturbing trend, scammers are using AI-generated deepfake videos of spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev to promote fake investment platforms like YouTube, using fabricated ads showing popular news media logos of The Hindu etc. misleading the public and causing massive financial losses.

🧠 A recent case involved a 57-year-old woman from Bengaluru who lost ₹3.75 crore after falling for a fraudulent platform called Mirrox, falsely endorsed via a deepfake video of Sadhguru.

⚖️ The Delhi High Court has now stepped in, ordering the takedown of 41 rogue websites and YouTube channels misusing Sadhguru’s image, voice, and likeness for scams.

💡 Why this matters:
These scams exploit public trust in well-known figures.
They use AI tools to create realistic fake interviews and endorsements.
Victims are often lured via Instagram, WhatsApp, and Zoom tutorials.

🔐 How to protect yourself:
Never trust investment advice from celebrity videos without verifying the source.
Report suspicious ads and profiles on platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.

Educate your network about AI deepfakes and digital impersonation.
