🚨 Digital Scam Alert : Deepfake Ads Misusing Sadhguru’s Identity
In a disturbing trend, scammers are using AI-generated deepfake videos of spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev to promote fake investment platforms like YouTube, using fabricated ads showing popular news media logos of The Hindu etc. misleading the public and causing massive financial losses.
🧠 A recent case involved a 57-year-old woman from Bengaluru who lost ₹3.75 crore after falling for a fraudulent platform called Mirrox, falsely endorsed via a deepfake video of Sadhguru.
⚖️ The Delhi High Court has now stepped in, ordering the takedown of 41 rogue websites and YouTube channels misusing Sadhguru’s image, voice, and likeness for scams.
