We started this podcast as a group of millennials just trying to laugh our way through life. It was friends sitting down, joking about everyday struggles, weird life experiences, growing up in a changing world, and all the relatable chaos that comes with adulthood. The kind of conversations you’d have late at night with friends — unfiltered, funny, honest, and sometimes completely random. People connected with it because it felt real. No fake personalities. Just regular people talking about life the way most of us actually experience it.

But over time, the podcast started becoming something bigger.

As life kept happening around us, we realized there were topics people don’t talk about enough and that is mental health, bullying, su***de prevention, violence, grief, feeling lost, and the pressure so many people carry silently every day. Instead of avoiding those conversations, we leaned into them. We still keep the humor and relatable moments because that’s part of who we are, but now there’s a purpose behind it too.

Today, the podcast is about connection. It’s about giving people a place where they can laugh, feel understood, hear real stories, and know they aren’t alone. Some episodes are lighthearted and chaotic. Others get deep and emotional. But every episode comes from real experiences, real conversations, and a genuine desire to make people feel seen.

We went from “a few millennials joking about life” to building a community that wants to help people through life too.

This episode goes deeper than just a conversation.

We talk about mental health, su***de awareness, grief, societal pressure on men, therapy, self-care, and the importance of truly listening to people before it’s too late. Nathan shares his daughter’s story and the mission behind AFSP, while we open up about personal experiences, unanswered questions after loss, and how communities can come together to support one another.

These chapter topics are some of the most important discussions we’ve had on The Brotherhood Podcast so far. If you or someone you know has ever struggled, felt unheard, or dealt with loss, this episode is for you.

Take some time this afternoon to listen, share, and help us spread a message that could genuinely help someone. You are not alone.

Don’t forget to check out the bullying episode that dropped Tuesday. Tomorrow’s episode connects directly to it and focuses on mental health and the impact it can have on people every day. We’re joined by special guest Nathan Ford, who shares his personal story, experiences, and why speaking up and supporting one another matters. These conversations are important, and we hope this episode helps someone feel heard, understood, or less alone. Tune in and be part of the conversation.
