The design team willingly forwent their usual "designer's freedom," as they meticulously managed the project from its architectural inception. The blueprint for this cutting-edge residence strikes a harmonious equilibrium between the principles of Vastu Shastra and the unique lifestyle preferences of the client.
The layout unfolds in an L-shaped configuration around the central garden area, employing a grid pattern to ensure that every space enjoys a glimpse of the picturesque landscaping. This spatial hierarchy is mirrored in the facade, which skilfully juxtaposes volumes, providing a canvas for contemporary material treatments such as glass, stone, and wooden fins.
Upon entry, a stunning sculpture by Ashish Das in a skylighted exposed brick wall sets the tone. The foyer divides formal and informal spaces. The drawing room is refined, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing picturesque views.
A double-height family room acts as the layout's heart, connecting all floors, with an exquisite staircase. The open plan integrates the kitchen and dining area, balancing subtlety with striking elements.
Each family member's bedroom reflects their unique style while adhering to minimalism. The master bedroom is elegantly minimal, the son's and daughter's bedrooms embrace edgy and bohemian styles.
The top-floor entertainment area offers comfort, coziness, and striking aesthetics, making it an inviting space for leisure and socialising.
