For the first time, Pastors from Western India Union recorded the Sabbath School Lessons in Marathi for

The Director invited Pr. Fredrick Paul from the Dharmapuri Section is to come and conduct a seminar on
“Homiletics and Biblical Exposition “in the Adventist Media Centre, Pune, for two days. The seminar was a
blessing to the radio speakers as it gave them new insights about understanding the Bible and
preparing different types of sermons. The seminar also helped in developing different kinds of
preaching methods. We also had ten Pastors from Kolhapur, the surrounding areas of Pune and Pune itself,
these areas are part of the Western India Union field.

lessons to be restarted as it explained the Bible truths clearly in a very simplified manner. There are
many people who are very interested and are pursuing this course and many have completed the same.

The Adventist Media Centre staff took up the Adventist World Radio weekend service in Salisbury
Memorial English. Testimonies were presented, Special songs sung, and the staff of AMC enacted a true-life skit. On Sabbath, an inspiring message, “The Great Interception”, was presented by the

The corridor of the Adventist Media Centre was freshly painted, and on its walls were mounted different
Data storage modes from the inception. This was named as the “Heritage Gallery” and was
declared open by Pr. Ezras Lakra in the presence of Eld. Riches Christian. The front portion of AMC also
got a fresh coat of paint after nearly 25 years. This improved AMC's outside look and gave it a

Ministry Development Plan was initiated by the AMC Director, Pr. Laban Rao. In this workshop, Pr. Laban
sowed the seed of planning every individual’s Ministry. The planning was for the next five years. This
planning was useful for setting goals for everyone and striving to achieve those goals. It was interesting
for each Radio Speaker to sit down and jot down plans he had for himself and his Ministry at large.
