Xiaomi has launched Redmi 17 5G in India on 3rd September 2026.

It is priced at ₹ 23,999 for 6GB+128GB and ₹ 26,999.
it is offered in Absolute Black, Endless Blue, Eternal Orange colour options.

It will be available for sale from 10th September through Xiaomi website and stores, Amazon and Retail stores.

It has IP64 for dust and water resistance, and equipped with Wet Touch Technology.
It also has a Dynamic RGB Light system near the rear camera that provides visual notifications for calls, charging, gaming, and app alerts.

Vivo has launched Vivo T5 5G in India on 2nd September 2026.

It is priced at ₹ 34,999 for 6GB+128GB, ₹ 39,999 for 8GB+128GB, ₹ 44,999 for 8GB+256GB and ₹ 49,999 for 12GB+256GB.
It is offered in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options.

It will be available for sale from 9th September through Vivo website and stores, Flipkart and Retail stores.

The vivo T5 runs on OriginOS 6.0 which is based on Android 16, backed by 3 planned Android version upgrades and 5 years of security updates.

It has IP68 and IP69 ingress ratings against high-pressure water jets and liquid submersion, supplemented by MIL-STD-810H durability compliance and wet-hand screen input tracking.

Nothing OS 5.0 was officially unveiled on August 25th via a YouTube livestream, during which Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, and other executives detailed the key updates coming to Nothing OS.

With Nothing OS 5.0 officially unveiled, the list of devices eligible for the update is as follows:

Phone (3)
Phone (4a) Pro
Phone (4a)
Phone (3a) Pro
Phone (3a)
Phone (2a)
Phone (2a) Plus
Phone (3a) Lite
Phone (4b)
CMF Phone 2 Pro

The Phone (3) reaches general release in mid-October, the (4a) and (3a) families follow in early November and the (2a) pair arrives in mid-November.

The Phone (3a) Lite and CMF Phone 2 Pro skip the beta entirely and go straight to general release in late December and mid-January, putting the CMF roughly five months behind the Phone (3).

Nothing also confirmed that the Phone (1), Phone (2) and CMF Phone 1 have reached the end of major software support and will not get this update.

Krafton India has opened pre-registrations for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Lite version on the Google Play Store for Android devices.
The game is currently scheduled to launch by the end of 2026, with an initial download size of 1GB.

Here's how you can Pre-Register for Battleground Mobile India Lite version:

Step 1: Check the Play Store for the official listing for BGMI Lite, check if the publisher is Krafton.
Step 2: Click on the Install Button.
Step 3: Turn on "automatically install while over WiFi only" if you want Google Play to install the game as soon as it launches.

Players who pre-register for the game will have the chance to win exclusive pre-registration rewards that will be announced soon.

Players who already have a BGMI account can jump into BGMI Lite without transferring their account. They only need to pre-register and start playing once the game is available.' Their items and progress will simply cross over to the lite version from BGMI.

BGMI Lite also supports cross play with the original version, meaning players across both version can still squad up. For iOS devices details on availability and pre-registration will be announced at a later date by Krafton.

CMF has launched CMF Buds Neo in India on 20th August 2026.

It is priced at ₹ 1,999.
It is offered in Black, White and Dark Blue colour variants.

It will be available for sale from 26th August through Flipkart and Retail stores.

For connectivity, CMF Buds Neo uses Bluetooth 6.0 and supports dual-device connection, Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair.

It works with Android 6.0 and later and iOS 13 and later through the Nothing X app.

The CMF Buds Neo earbuds use touch controls that you can customise in the Nothing X app. Double-tapping skips to the next track or rejects a call, while triple-tapping skips to the previous track.
Holding the touch area switches between Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes, and pressing and holding adjusts the volume.
