Motorola has hiked the prices of few Edge and G series models.
The revised pricing is already applicable from 1st June across all official platforms and stores.
The Moto G06 Power has received a price hike, moving from ₹ 12,999 to ₹ 15,999.
The standard Moto G37 has also become significantly more expensive, rising from ₹ 13,999 to ₹ 18,999.
Among the affected devices, the Moto G37 Power has received the steepest price increase. The 4GB+128GB variant has gone up from ₹ 15,999 to ₹ 21,999, while the 8GB+128GB model now costs ₹ 27,999 instead of its original ₹ 18,999 launch price.
The Moto G57 Power has received a price hike, moving from ₹ 19,999 to ₹ 21,999.
The Moto G67 Power has received a price hike. The 8GB+128GB variant has gone up from ₹ 20,999 to ₹ 22,999, while the 12GB+256GB model now costs ₹ 27,999 instead of its original ₹ 22,999 launch price.
The older Edge 60 Fusion has also received a price hike, moving from ₹ 26,999 to ₹ 29,999.
The Edge 70 Fusion has received hikes ranging between ₹ 2,000 and ₹ 4,000, depending on the variant.
Meanwhile, the Edge 70 Pro has seen a comparatively modest increase of ₹ 1,000 across both variants.
While Motorola has yet to release an official statement regarding the price increase, we already know the reason. As the memory crisis continues to progress, smartphone prices keep rising daily.
