Stop making Virat Kohli mistakes. Understand Instagram before you stalk.

Adam Mosseri just confirmed it - when you accidentally like and quickly unlike an old photo, Instagram deletes the in-app notification, but it CANNOT delete the phone lock-screen notification.

So they still see “xyz liked your photo” - but when they open the app, nothing is there. Awkward.
