For thousands of years sacred voices and melodic tunes have resonated across Indian continent, commonly known as Raga music. Indian classical music, known as ‘Shastriya Sangeet’ is categorized under Nau Rasa, nine emotions or expressions. They are the shringara or love, hasya or humor, raudra or anger, vira or valor, adbhuta or wondrous, vibhatsa or odious, karuna or compassion, bhayanak or fearfu

l and shant or peaceful. As per the system all raga compositions are supposed to be contained in one of these nine emotions or expressions. You will find Indian classical music to be spiritual, uplifting and sometimes exhilarating.

For three unforgettable days, music lovers immersed themselves in the soulful world of Hindustani Classical Music, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of nature—far from the city’s hustle and bustle. 🌄✨

A dedicated disciple of the Dagar Parampara, Meghana has been learning the sacred Dhrupad tradition under the esteemed guidance of Pandit Uday Bhawalkar since 2005. Her renditions offer a meditative and soul-stirring musical experience rooted in spiritual depth.

🪘 Pakhawaj: Rameshwar Ghayal
Founder of Talarpan Gurukul, Pune, and disciple of Pt. Krushna ji Salunkhe. A gold medalist in the Mumbai Pakhawaj solo competition, Rameshwar ji brings years of expertise and devotion to his art.

🪕Tanpura: Silvia Vidal
A professional pianist from Spain and a student of Meghana Sardar Kenjale for the past 4 years. In this recording, she beautifully supports the performance on Tanpura, adding a serene and delicate sonic layer alongside the rhythmic depth of Pakhawaj.

🌟 About Swanand Kulkarni
An accomplished harmonium artist, Swanand began his musical journey under the guidance of Shri Dattatray Gaurav from Sangli. For the past 15 years, he has been a disciple of the legendary Pt. Pramod Marathe, Principal of Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. He holds a Master's degree in Music from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s School of Performing Arts, Pune.

Swanand has accompanied eminent maestros such as Pt. Raja Kale, Pt. Padma Tai Talwalkar, Pt. Kalapini Komkali, Pt. Shaunak Abhishekhi, Pt. Raghunandan Panshikar, and many more across India and internationally.
