Some stories are too precious to stay locked in one language. 💫
When 93-year-old Mr. Vasudeo Ramchandra Patgaonkar penned his 500-page memoir Paulkhuna in Marathi, he was writing for his family — a legacy of resilience, values, and love. But while he and his children read Marathi with ease, the younger generations found their comfort in English.
That’s where our team at TranslationPanacea stepped in. For three months, translators, editors, and even our Gen Z teammates worked to carry the warmth of his words, the fragrance of Maharashtrian culture, and the rhythm of his life into English. Every choice mattered — what to explain, what to let readers ask their parents, how to keep the story natural yet culturally rich.
On 13 September 2025, Paulkhuna was released in Vile Parle. It wasn’t just a book launch. It was the passing on of a legacy across languages and generations.
🙏 Our heartfelt thanks to and for trusting us.
And if you dream of giving your story — or your family’s story — a life beyond language barriers, we’d love to help. 💙
