🌿📖 आर्य समाज वैदिक सप्ताह – ज्ञान, संस्कार एवं संस्कृति का उत्सव 🕉️

DAV महात्मा आनंद स्वामी सेंटेनरी पब्लिक स्कूल, राजगढ़ में आर्य समाज वैदिक सप्ताह श्रद्धा, उत्साह एवं गरिमापूर्ण वातावरण में मनाया गया। सप्ताहभर विद्यार्थियों ने 🌱 वृक्षारोपण, 🕉️ वैदिक मंत्रोच्चारण, 🎤 भाषण, ❓ वैदिक प्रश्नोत्तरी, 🎭 लघु नाटिका, 🔥 हवन एवं 🎶 भजन संध्या जैसी विभिन्न गतिविधियों में उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।

🇮🇳✨ GLIMPSES OF INDEPENDENCE DAY & PRE-INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS ✨🇮🇳

The spirit of patriotism, pride and responsibility came alive at DAV Centenary Mahatma Anand Swami Public School, Rajgarh, as we celebrated Independence Day 2026 under the inspiring theme:

🌟 “Nation First: Honouring the Past, Building the Future – Freedom with Responsibility” 🌟

The celebrations began with a special Pre-Independence Day Programme on 14 August, where our talented students expressed their love for the nation through Hindi and English speeches, an English poetry recitation and an inspiring patriotic skit. Their confident performances beautifully reflected the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the responsibilities that come with freedom. 🇮🇳❤️

On Independence Day, the National Flag was proudly unfurled by our esteemed Chief Guest, Subedar Major Prakash Thakur, in the gracious presence of his wife, Mrs. Meena Thakur. The ceremony filled the atmosphere with immense pride and patriotic fervour. 🇮🇳

The celebration continued with thought-provoking speeches, soulful poetry and a powerful patriotic skit, all echoing the message that freedom is not merely a right—it is a responsibility to contribute towards the progress, unity and integrity of our nation.

🎖️ The inspiring message of our Chief Guest
Our esteemed Chief Guest, Subedar Major Prakash Thakur, motivated the students with his words of wisdom and shared a powerful message: serving the nation is not limited to serving at the borders. Students too can serve their country by doing their work sincerely and honestly, fulfilling their responsibilities, maintaining discipline and leading a healthy and purposeful life.

Our respected Principal, Mr. Chandreshwar Sharma, inspired the students to lead a virtuous, disciplined and patriotic life. He emphasised the importance of good values, discipline and responsible citizenship. 🌱🐄 A Day of Compassion, Care & Environmental Responsibility 🐄🌱

Under the guidance of our respected Principal Shri Chandreshwar Sharma Ji and Shri Kapil Thakur Ji (Founder, Hari Om Gaushala & Former Vice-President, NAC Rajgarh), the students of Classes VII & VIII along with our NCC Cadets visited Hari Om Gaushala, Kotla Barog.

🌿 44 saplings were planted by our students and NCC Cadets in the Gaushala premises.

🐄 Students gained valuable insights into the care, feeding and protection of abandoned cows and understood the importance of compassion towards animals.

🌱 They were also encouraged to revisit the Gaushala with their parents to care for and observe the growth of the saplings they planted.

🍞 Special Initiative – Gau-Gras:
Students were motivated to bring the first roti of the day (Gau-Gras) along with vegetable and fruit peels to school for the Gaushala. They were also encouraged to visit the Gaushala on their birthdays and contribute towards the service of abandoned cows.

✨ A meaningful experience that nurtured compassion, environmental awareness and social responsibility in our young minds.

A Life Skills Workshop was successfully conducted on 5 July 2026 in DAV CENTENARY PUBLIC SCHOOL RAJGARH with the aim of equipping teachers with effective strategies to nurture essential life skills among students.

The workshop was led by two eminent resource persons: Ms. Amanpreet Saini, PGT Chemistry, Akal Academy, Baru Sahib, and Ms. Aradhana Thakur, M.A. (History), B.Ed., Divine Wisdom School, Paonta Sahib. Through engaging sessions, interactive activities, and practical demonstrations, they introduced innovative methods to help teachers effectively inculcate life skills such as effective communication, empathy, decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, self-awareness, and critical thinking in students.

The workshop provided teachers with a variety of creative activities and experiential learning techniques that can be integrated into classroom teaching to make learning more meaningful and holistic. The sessions were highly informative, engaging, and inspired the participants to adopt activity-based approaches for the overall development of students.

The Principal of the host school, Shri Chandreshwar Sharma, addressed the gathering and emphasized the significance of life skills in a student's life as well as in everyone's personal and professional journey. He highlighted that life skills enable individuals to face challenges with confidence, make responsible decisions, build healthy relationships, and become responsible citizens. He encouraged all teachers to integrate life skills into their daily teaching practices to foster the holistic development of every child.

The workshop concluded on a positive note, leaving the participants motivated and enriched with valuable ideas to create a supportive and life-skill-oriented learning environment in the school.
