*Indian Army Celebrates 11th International Yoga Day in Rajouri with Awam*

The Indian Army celebrated the *11th International Day of Yoga* with great zeal and enthusiasm at various locations across the *Rajouri district* of Jammu & Kashmir, reaffirming its commitment to holistic health and wellness for its personnel and the local community.
The main event was held at the *Ace of Spades Division* where over 500 troops, including officers, jawans, and local youth, participated in a synchronized mass yoga session early in the morning. The session was conducted by certified instructors and included basic Asanas, Pranayama, and Meditation Techniques as per the Common Yoga Protocol issued by the *Ministry of AYUSH*.
The *Tri color theme* further added to the vibrant and patriotic fervour.
In addition to the main event, the satellite military stations including *ALG, Rajouri* also witnessed encouraging footfall of Local notables who joined Army Personnel in doing various Yoga Asanas.
The event highlighted the role of yoga in enhancing *physical fitness, mental resilience, and spiritual harmony*—essential qualities for soldiers operating in challenging terrains like Jammu & Kashmir.
Special yoga sessions were also conducted in remote forward areas with soldiers performing asanas amidst the scenic but rugged Pir Panjal backdrop, reflecting the *Army’s spirit of discipline and dedication*.
The event also saw participation from school *Children, Ex-Servicemen*, and *members of the civil society*, symbolizing the Army’s strong bond with the local population.
The celebration of International Yoga Day in Rajouri reinforced the Indian Army’s commitment to a healthy lifestyle and promoted the message of *“Yoga for One Earth, One Health*”.
