Several House Damaged due to Heavy Rain during Night hours in Balakote area.

Due to heavy rainfall and ongoing NH144A road construction work a major loss has been incurred in Village Sangiote, Tehsil Balakote District Poonch specifically in Ward No. 04 Mohalla Maidaan Panchayat Sanghiote.

The house & Madarsa of Hafiz Tariq Madni has suffered complete structural damage leaving the family and Madarsa students in distress and urgent need of support. The construction agency working on is directly responsible, as they carried out land cutting and road widening activities without proper drainage or slope protection measures. This negligence has resulted in massive soil erosion and structural collapse of Madarsa and homes including that of Hafiz Tariq Madni Sb.

District Administration Poonch, the Office of Hon’ble LG J&K, and the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to kindly intervene and take immediate relief and rehabilitation measures.
