Jammu, Nov 10: State Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajeev Charak today termed explosion near Delhi's Red Fort Metro Station as an unconscionable act of barbarism.
Charak expressed deepest condolences to the families who lost loved ones in heartbreaking explosion, which has claimed the lives of at least 10 innocent people and injured many more.
"Our hearts go out to the wounded, who are receiving urgent care, and to the entire city of Delhi, which stands united in grief and defiance. This dastardly incident, occurring in a vehicle at a crowded traffic signal near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, bears all the hallmarks of a targeted assault on India's sovereignty and the safety of its citizens. It is a stark reminder of the persistent threat posed by forces of terror and disruption that seek to undermine the peace and progress we have worked so tirelessly to achieve under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah" Charak said in a statement.
He said that BJP stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the Central Government, Delhi Police, NIA, and all security agencies as they swiftly investigate this outrage and bring the perpetrators to justice.
He said no stone must be left unturned in rooting out the networks responsible, and we urge the highest vigilance to prevent any further attempts at destabilization.
In Jammu and Kashmir, where we have witnessed the transformative power of resolute action against terrorism—from the abrogation of Article 370 to the dismantling of terror hideouts—this blast only reinforces our commitment to a terror-free India.
The people of J&K, who have endured unimaginable hardships in the fight for peace, join the nation in condemning this evil.
We will not cower; instead, we will emerge stronger, more united, and more determined to safeguard every corner of our beloved Bharat.
