Good Governance Week 2025: “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” Outreach Continues in Sub-Division Gool
Gool, December 24:
As part of the ongoing Good Governance Week 2025, activities under the flagship initiative “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” continued with full momentum in Sub-Division Gool, aiming to strengthen grassroots governance and ensure last-mile delivery of public services.
An extensive outreach programme was organized at Block Sangaldan, presided over by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gool, Imtiaz. The programme witnessed active participation from multiple government departments, which set up dedicated stalls to provide on-the-spot service delivery, awareness, and grievance redressal to the general public.
Addressing the gathering, SDM Gool Imtiaz stated that the initiative has been carefully designed to bring administration closer to the people by ensuring easy, transparent, and timely access to government schemes and services at citizens’ doorsteps. He emphasized that Good Governance Week is a people-centric campaign focused on resolving public grievances, spreading awareness about welfare schemes, and strengthening trust between citizens and the administration.
The outreach programme was attended by several senior officers, including SDPO Gool Kuldeep Raj, Naib Tehsildar Sangaldan Mohammed Qayoom, BDO Sangaldan Mohammed Irfan, CDPO Gool Bashir Ahmed Malik, and BMO Gool Dr. Mohammed Iqbal, AEE Taraq Ahmed,AEE Naveed Aslam, Daulat Ram SMS, Officials from almost all line departments were present, ensuring comprehensive coverage of public services.
Departments that participated included Agriculture, Sericulture, Fisheries, Power Development Department (PDD), Health, ICDS, Public Works Department (PWD), Banks, Handicrafts, Jal Shakti, Rural Development Department (RDD), and Education, among others. Each department provided information, accepted applications, and addressed service-related issues on the spot.
