Today, on 05.06.2026, a Legal Awareness Camp was organized at the Court Complex, Gool, by TLSC Gool under the chairmanship of Worthy Chairman Shri Ajay, Munsiff/JMIC Gool, on the occasion of World Environment Day.

The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Forest Department and officers of the local administration. The SDM Gool Sh. Imtiaz, BDO Gool Sh. Sadam Hussain, Range Officer Gool Sh. Sajad Ahmed, and SDAO Gool Sh. Sanjay Sharma, members of the Bar Association, court staff, and PLVs also actively participated in the camp and contributed to making the event a great success.

The camp highlighted the importance of environmental protection, sustainable development, and collective responsibility towards preserving nature for future generations.

World Environment Day Celebrated Across Gool with Mega Plantation Drive

Ramban, June 05: World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across Sub-Division Gool today. A mega plantation drive was organized under the leadership of SDM Gool, Imtiaz, in collaboration with the Forest Department and Social Forestry Division.

Observed under the theme “Our Land. Our Future. We are Generation Restoration,” the programme focused on promoting environmental conservation, climate action, and the importance of increasing green cover for a sustainable future.

The plantation drive was conducted in the premises of the SDM Office, Munsiff Court Gool, and various educational institutions. SDM Gool Imtiaz, along with Munsiff Judge Gool Shri Ajay, Tehsildar Gool Harjeet Singh, BDO Gool Sadam Hussain,Naib tehsildar Gool inkthab Ahmed,Ranger Officer Gool Sajid Ahmed, and SDAO Gool Sanjay Sharma, CDPO Gool Bashir Ahmed Malik,planted saplings and encouraged people to adopt eco-friendly practices.

Addressing the participants, the SDM emphasized that environmental protection is a collective responsibility. He urged students, government employees, and the general public to plant more trees, reduce plastic consumption, and conserve water and energy.

"Nature nurtures us, and it is our duty to nurture nature. A greener Gool means a healthier and more prosperous sub-division for future generations," he said.

Officials of the Forest Department briefed participants about plant species suitable for the local climate and highlighted their role in maintaining ecological balance. Students and officials also took a pledge to keep their surroundings clean and green.

Sub Divisional Administration Gool installed a monumental tricolour flag at patato farm Gool to inspire patriotism.

Gool, 04 June 2026:The Sub-Divisional Administration Gool, (SDM) Gool, Imtiaz, today inaugurated a monumental 40-feet National Flag at Ishkunda Potato Farm, Gool. The patriotic initiative aims to promote national pride, unity, and respect for the country among citizens, especially the younger generation.
The Tricolour was installed in the presence of Tehsildar Gool Harjeet Singh, SDAO Sanjay Sharma, Naib Tehsildar sangaldan Mohammed Qayoom,and various line departments.The installation at this prominent location is expected to become a landmark and a source of inspiration for residents and visitors alike.
Speaking on the occasion, SDM Imtiaz , highlighted the significance of the National Flag as a symbol of India’s sovereignty, integrity, and unity. He stated that the flag represents the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters and serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility towards nation-building.
“The National Flag is not just cloth with colours; it embodies the spirit, identity, and dignity of Indians. Installing this 40-foot Tricolour at Ishkunda will instill a sense of pride and patriotism, particularly among our youth,” the SDM said.He urged citizens to uphold the dignity of the National Flag as per the Flag Code of India and to inculcate values of discipline, service, and unity in daily life. The SDM added that such initiatives align with the vision of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and aim to strengthen emotional bonds with the nation.
