🎨 Proud Moment | Sohrai Artists at Rashtrapati Bhavan – Kala Utsav 2025
Four women artisans from Jharkhand, trained under NABARD–WWY LEDP on GI-tagged Sohrai-Khovar Art, participated in the prestigious Kala Utsav 2025 – Artists in Residence Programme at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.
🖼️ A key highlight was a stunning 100-ft Sohrai painting on silk, created by these artisans and showcased during the event. They were felicitated by Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu.

These artisans were mentored through NABARD’s support, facilitated byas PIA:
🔸 Rudan, Sajo & Malo are now custodian artisans of the Sohrai tradition
🔸 Anita serves as a CRP, guiding new artisans in Jorakath

✔️ Speaking at RAC & leading peer trainings
