Intensified Pulse Polio Program (IPPI) was today inaugurated at Accidental Hospital (AH) Ghagwal by DDC Ghagwal, Suresh Ph**li, in the presence of health staff including mobile unit officer of Director Health Services, Jammu , DHO Samba, Dr Anju, BMO Nud, Dr Richa Arora, I/C AH Ghagwal Dr Rajiv Mengi and CHO Sh Lekh Raj.

The Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) programme is a large-scale vaccination campaign in India designed to eliminate poliomyelitis by administering oral polio drops to all children aged 0–5 years.

National Immunization Days (NID) for the current round are being observed from December 21 to December 23, 2025.

On day 1, booth activity will be conducted in which vaccination will be provided at fixed Polio booths from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

On days 2 & 3, dedicated teams visit households to ensure children who missed the booth day are vaccinated.

चीन ने सोशल मीडिया पर इन्फ्लुएंसर्स के लिए नए नियम लागू किए है.
इसमें कहा गया है कि सोशल मीडिया पर संवेदनशील विषयों जैसे कि मेडिसिन, कानून, शिक्षा या फाइनेंस पर जानकारी साझा करने वाले इन्फ्लुएंसर्स के पास आधिकारिक योग्यता होना जरूरी है.

इसके तहत किसी भी क्रिएटर को इन विषयों पर पोस्ट करने से पहले अपनी विशेषज्ञता साबित करनी होगी. यानी उन्हें डिग्री,
पेशेवर लाइसेंस या प्रमाण पत्र साझा करना होगा. चीन के साइबरस्पेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (CAC) के मुताबिक, इसका मकसद गलत जानकारी फैलने से रोकना और जनता को गलत या भ्रामक सलाह से बचाना है.

J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma -IPS has recovered 5.88 grams of He**in(Chitta) like substance from Shamshan Ghat area of PS Hiranagar and one drug peddler arrested and seized the vehicle(motorbike) involved.

On 28/10/2025 a Police team of PS Hiranagar led by Insp. Ashish Sharma under the close supervision of SP Ops Kathua Sh. Mukund Tibrewal IPS and SDPO Border Sh. Dheeraj Katoch established a routine naka at Hiranagar area to keep a check on suspicious movement and illegal activities.

During naka duty, the police party noticed one person en routed on motorbike bearing Reg. No. JK08P-6251 under suspicious manner. On being stopped and questioned, he disclosed his identity as
1. Ajay Kumar S/o Darshan Lal R/o Kattal Gujjaran. Upon his personal search,
5.88 grams of He**in Chitta like substance have been recovered from his possession.

Accordingly, a case FIR No. 153/2025 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Hiranagar , and the accused was taken into custody on the spot. The recovered contraband has been seized as per legal procedures, and further investigation is in progress to trace the source and linkages of the narcotic supply.
