*Jammu Police, Police station Peermitha Solved Theft Case, Recovered Stolen items, Accused Arrested*

On 14.09.2025, case FIR Nos. 36/2025 U/S 331(3)/305(a) BNS and 37/2025 U/S 331(3)305(a) BNS were registered at Police Station Peer Mitha on the complaints of Zahid Ali and Manzoor Ahmed that items including a gas cylinder, Coolpix L-20 camera, Realme mobile, Lenovo laptop and HP laptop worth Rs. 2,50,000/- are stolen from their rooms.
Acting immediately, a police team led by SHO Police Station Peer Mitha,Inspector Raza Ali and incharge Police Post Gujjar Nagar PSI Zulfikar Ahmad under the supervision of , SDPO City North & SP North initiated a thorough investigation using technical surveillance and ground intelligence.
Many suspcts were round up .During the interrogation one suspect namely *Arif Malik @ Sahib S/O Mushtaq Ahmed Malik R/O Bazigar Basti, Bagh-e-Bahu, Jammu* confessed his involvement in both the theft cases.Accuesd has been arrested and on his disclosure all the stolen items have been recovered.
The investigation is ongoing, with further links to similar thefts under active probes.
Accused person's involvement in other theft cases across the region is also being examined and more recoveries are expected in the coming days as new leads emerge.
