🚨 Earthquake Advisory (August 3rd–15th)
There are general forecasts and circulating alerts suggesting the possibility of earthquake activity in South-Central Asian countries, including regions around Bhutan, between August 3rd and 15th.
⚠️ While such predictions are not always scientifically confirmed, it's important for all Bhutanese to remain alert and prepared during this period.
What you can do:
Know the safe places in your home (e.g., under sturdy tables or next to interior walls).
Keep a go-bag with water, flashlight, medicines, documents.
Avoid staying in structurally weak buildings.
If tremors are felt, move quickly to open spaces or safe zones.
Being prepared saves lives. It’s better to stay safe and vigilant than to be caught off-guard.
