Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, in collaboration with the Alumni Association of XISS (AAXISS), Sadar Blood Bank, and the Rotaract Club of Social Revolution (RCSR), successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The camp, which was inaugurated by our Director, Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur SJ, collected a remarkable 80 units of blood from faculty, staff, students, and other donors. Dr Kujur highlighted the noble service of blood donation to humanity and nation-building. The event was graced by the presence of key figures including Assistant Director, Dr Pradeep Kerketta SJ, Faculty Members, and other guests.
The AAXISS Ranchi Chapter representatives, led by Mr Alok Gupta, Mr Jasbir Singh Khurana, Mr Himalay, and Mr Danish Imam actively encouraged participation of blood donors. The Sadar Blood Bank team, led by Dr Ranju, ensured a safe process, while RCSR volunteers, led by Saif Rehman, Shukla Sarkar, Aditi Khalko, and others coordinated the camp's various aspects seamlessly.
