Sharing something really beautiful about Ashta Lakshmi — _the 8 forms of Goddess Lakshmi_ — and it completely changed how I think about prosperity!
1️⃣ Adi Lakshmi
This is the first wealth — knowing yourself. (Where I have come from? Who am I? Where will I go?)
The person who gets knowledge of self- the fear diminishes. Peace & bliss comes.
2️⃣ Dhana Lakshmi
When we honour money, use it wisely, share it — that’s when it becomes true wealth.
Those who don’t have Dhana Lakshmi get involved in adharma (crimes) or those who do not honour Dhana and make it the goal find no happiness with thier money.
3️⃣ Vidya Lakshmi
Education isn’t just about degrees. It’s about what you apply and how you serve with that knowledge. That’s when wisdom becomes Vidya Lakshmi.
4️⃣ Dhanya Lakshmi
True abundance lies not just in money but in food. Many have money (Dhan Lakshmi) yet cannot enjoy food, while villagers with little money possess plenty of Dhanya Lakshmi and share freely.
In cities so many times food spoils in the fridge! wasting or hoarding food dishonors Dhanya Lakshmi.
5️⃣ Dhairya Lakshmi
Courage! - a wealth that helps you speak truth, take risks, and grow.
The quantity of progress depends on the quantity of Dhairya Lakshmi, whether is business or in job there is a need of Dhairya Lakshmi.
6️⃣ Santana Lakshmi
It’s not just about having kids or family. It’s about having relationships that bring peace happiness & prosperity, not unhappiness, disputes & stress!
That’s the real family wealth we all want!
7️⃣ Vijaya Lakshmi
Some people have all the facilities and resources even then they don’t get success in any work, this is the shortage of Vijaya Lakshmi.
The ability to actually complete what you start.
8️⃣ Bhagya Lakshmi
Some people with big titles have no real power. While a small village head commands total respect.
True authority isn’t given by designation. It comes naturally to some people. Even with all other wealths, without Bhagya Lakshmi there is no authority.
✨ The Beautiful Part:
We already have some of these — just in different quantities. Wealth can be acquired, all the above can manifest in our life with help of practice, penance & awareness.
*True prosperity = Not just money, but completeness in every dimension of life!*
