Who knew humble bottle gourd could turn into such a beautiful and delicious dessert? 😍

Fresh lauki is slowly cooked with milk, sugar, khoya and cardamom, then finished with crunchy almonds and pistachios. The final touch? We shaped the barfi into cute little hearts! ❤️

🐟🔥 Fresh River Fish Tawa Fry | A Perfect Monsoon Village Feast 🌧️

Today at The Mini Chulha, fresh fish is caught from the river and turned into a delicious crispy Fish Tawa Fry.

The complete process is shown from scratch — cleaning the fish, cutting and washing it, grinding fresh mint, green chilli, garlic and ginger chutney on a traditional sil-batta, coating the fish, frying it in ghee and giving it a final sizzling fry with the chutney.

All of this happens in a beautiful rural setting surrounded by dark monsoon clouds, strong winds, rain and lush greenery. 🌿🌧️

The final crispy, spicy and aromatic fish is served fresh and tasted straight from the tawa. 🤤🔥

🥟 Crispy Fried Cheese Momos with Homemade Red Spicy Chutney 🌶️

A cozy rainy-day miniature cooking experience from The Mini Chulha. 🌧️🔥

Fresh vegetables are harvested and washed, the momo filling is prepared from scratch, the dough is kneaded by hand, each momo is carefully shaped and filled with cheese, then steamed and fried until perfectly crispy.

And the chutney? 🌶️
Fresh tomatoes, red chillies, garlic and ginger ground traditionally on a sil-batta. 🪨

Finally served hot on a fresh banana leaf with that irresistible cheesy center. 🍃🧀
