Eye Donation Awareness Program at Patanjali Ayurveda College

As part of the **41st National Eye Donation Awareness Fortnight**, **Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute (NEI), Rishikesh** organized an **Eye Donation Awareness Program at Patanjali Ayurveda College on 3rd September 2026**.

The session aimed to create awareness among young students about the importance of **eye donation and corneal donation**, and how a simple pledge can help restore the gift of sight to someone in need.

👩‍⚕️ **Dr. Richa**, Cornea Consultant at NEI, delivered an informative **awareness lecture**, explaining the significance of eye donation, the donation process, and addressing common myths and misconceptions.

🙏 **Shri Atam Prakash Kochar Ji** delivered an inspiring **motivational address**, encouraging students to come forward and support the noble cause of eye donation.

More than **100 students participated actively and interacted enthusiastically** during the session, making the program meaningful and impactful.

👁️ **Eye Donation Awareness Programme | Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh**

On **29th August 2026**, **Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute (NEI), Rishikesh**, in association with the **Inner Wheel Club of Paonta Sahib**, organised an **Eye Donation Awareness Programme** at Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, as part of the ongoing **41st National Eye Donation Fortnight**.

The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of eye donation and inspire people to contribute towards restoring the gift of sight to those in need.

**Dr. Richa Dhiman** delivered an informative and insightful lecture on eye donation, highlighting its importance and addressing common misconceptions. **Shri Atam Prakash Kochar Ji** motivated the gathering with an inspiring speech, encouraging everyone to pledge their eyes and spread awareness about this noble cause.

Around **50 members of the Inner Wheel Club** participated in the awareness session with great enthusiasm and commitment.

ऋषिकेश, 25 अगस्त 2026:* राष्ट्रीय नेत्रदान जागरूकता पखवाड़े के प्रथम दिवस के अवसर पर निर्मल आश्रम नेत्र संस्थान द्वारा *निर्मल आश्रम ज्ञान दान अकादमी (NGA), श्यामपुर, ऋषिकेश* में नेत्रदान जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम *महंत बाबा राम सिंह जी महाराज एवं संत बाबा जोध सिंह जी महाराज के दिव्य आशीर्वाद* से आयोजित किया गया।

कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों के बीच *नेत्रदान के महत्व, कॉर्नियल ब्लाइंडनेस तथा नेत्रदान से जुड़े भ्रांतियों और तथ्यों* के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना था।

इस अवसर पर *निर्मल आश्रम नेत्र संस्थान की कॉर्निया कंसल्टेंट डॉ. रिचा धीमान* ने विद्यार्थियों के साथ एक विशेष एवं संवादात्मक जागरूकता सत्र आयोजित किया। उन्होंने सरल एवं प्रभावी तरीके से नेत्रदान की आवश्यकता, इसके महत्व और समाज में जागरूकता बढ़ाने में युवाओं की भूमिका के बारे में जानकारी साझा की। विद्यार्थियों ने पूरे उत्साह के साथ सत्र में भाग लिया और अपने प्रश्न पूछकर विषय को बेहतर ढंग से समझने में रुचि दिखाई।

कार्यक्रम को विद्यालय की ओर से *400 से अधिक विद्यार्थियों* की उत्साहपूर्ण भागीदारी मिली। इसके साथ ही *15 से अधिक शिक्षकों* ने भी इस जागरूकता सत्र में सहभागिता की। विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों की बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थिति ने नेत्रदान जैसे महत्वपूर्ण सामाजिक विषय के प्रति विद्यालय समुदाय की जागरूकता और संवेदनशीलता को प्रदर्शित किया।

निर्मल आश्रम नेत्र संस्थान की ओर से डॉ. सुनीता शर्मा, प्रिंसिपल, निर्मल आश्रम ज्ञान दान अकादमी, का विशेष आभार व्यक्त किया गया, जिनके सहयोग और समर्थन से यह जागरूकता कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित हो सका।
