And that’s a wrap. I went on this journey solo, not seeking answers or a sense of purpose. For years, I believed I had everything figured out and that my life was perfectly in place. But oh, how mistaken I was. My arrogance blinded me to the fact that I couldn’t learn everything by sitting in my room, reading books, and surrounding myself with gadgets.
Traveling to new places and doing things I never thought I could do alone changed me. I met incredible people, listened to their inspiring stories, and realized there are people ten years younger than me full of wisdom and those in their 60s who feel as youthful as teenagers. This experience left me with more questions and an emptiness in my heart, to which I don’t yet have answers.
This message is a reminder to myself: in life, there’s no such thing as an “ultimate” destination. The only true finality is death, and until then, we always have the chance to grow and evolve if we’re willing to.
P.S. The song on this post is the only one I listened to during this trip. I don’t understand a single word of it, but it will always take me back to this time, reminding me of the beautiful memories I’ve made.
