Streaked Laughing Thrush मुख्य रूप से एशिया के कुछ क्षेत्रों में पाया जाता है, जैसे हिमालय क्षेत्र, भारत, नेपाल और भूटान। यह पक्षी अपने अनोखे स्वर और जंगली जीवन के लिए जाना जाता है।
इस पक्षी का रंग आम तौर पर बेज और भूरा होता है, जिसमें सफेद और काले धारियां होती हैं।
इनकी शोर करने वाली आवाज बहुत ही खास होती है, जिसे सुनकर ऐसा लगता है कि ये हंसी उड़ा रहे हैं, इसी कारण इसका नाम "Laughing Thrush" रखा गया है।

1. **वर्णन**:
- **Male**: इस पक्षी का सिर प्लम (बादाम) रंग का होता है, जिससे यह बहुत सुंदर लगता है। इसका शरीर आमतौर पर हरे रंग का होता है, और इसकी पूंछ लंबी होती है।
- **Female**: महिला प्लम-हेडेड पैरेकेट का रंग थोड़ा हल्का होता है; इनमें सिर पर हरे रंग की छाया होती है और प्लम का रंग नहीं होता है।

2. **आकार**: ये पक्षी लगभग 35 सेमी लंबे होते हैं, और इनका चोंच बड़ा और तेज होता है, जो इन्हें बीज और फल तोड़ने में मदद करता है।
