1. **Urdhva Lok**: The upper world or celestial realm, inhabited by heavenly beings and deities. This realm represents a higher state of existence characterized by bliss and happiness.

2. **Madhya Lok**: The middle world or earthly realm, where humans, animals, and plants reside. This is considered the realm of worldly existence, where individuals have the opportunity to attain spiritual liberation through righteous living and self-realization.

3. **Adho Lok**: The lower world or hellish realm, inhabited by beings experiencing suffering and torment due to their past karmic actions. This realm represents a state of existence characterized by pain and misery.

The concept of Teen Lok is central to Jain cosmology and serves as a reminder of the Jain belief in karma, reincarnation, and the ultimate goal of attaining liberation (moksha) from the cycle of birth and death.
