Why Billoo Junior and his careworker still need your help!! We raised Rs. 28,775 through generous contributions from donors (Ketto fundraiser link below). But we had to pay a platform fee of Rs. 3,000 and ended up having only Rs. 25,660 for Billoo Junior, which we spent on two months of fostering +food +physiotherapy +travel to and from his appointments. His careworker (Subuhi Jiwani) has spent ~Rs. 10,000 from her own pocket and needs an additional Rs. 13,600 for his hernia surgery. As a freelancer, it's hard for her to keep with these expenses. She wears an orange collar and used to lounge around in her make-shift bed in the building compound. She is very friendly and quite a pet! WE ARE TREATING HIM! This boy's got it going good! The wonderful Aban Mistry -- one of Versova's veteran animal activists -- took him to the Feline Foundation and is treating his ear at home. Some ointment and a whole lotta love. Now, even pets don't get so lucky! The stars are looking out for him. What should we call him? Earsie? Fits well.
