The vibrant town of Bameng is abuzz with anticipation as preparations for the Golden Jubilee Nyokum Yullo Celebration, scheduled for February 2026, officially commenced with the appointment of the organizing committee.
The Searching Committee, today, met with the newly appointed Organising Chairman, Shri Bharat Sonam, and Organising Secretary, Shri Tage Dodum, to formally hand over their appointment letters, marking a significant milestone in the lead-up to the grand cultural event.
During the handover ceremony, the Searching Committee expressed their confidence in the leadership of Shri Bharat Sonam and Shri Tage Dodum, lauding their commitment to preserving and promoting the rich traditions of the Nyishi community. The committee extended heartfelt wishes to the Organising Committee for a successful and memorable celebration, urging them to uphold the spirit of Nyokum Yullo with grandeur and inclusivity.
Shri Bharat Sonam, the Organising Chairman, expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and assured that the committee is dedicated to making the Golden Jubilee a landmark event. โThis is a momentous occasion for Bameng and the Nyishi community. We will work tirelessly to ensure the celebration reflects our cultural pride and brings people together in joy and unity,โ he said.
