Seppa, November 14, 2025 –

The All Nyishi Youth Association-East Kameng District Unit (ANYA-EKDU), led by President Shri Ramesh Taku, commenced a significant Foot March Rally from Seppa to Itanagar, today in protest against the alleged corruption in multi-crore land compensation scam under Lada to Sarli Frontier Highway Project.

A large number of aggrieved public, alongwith enthusiastic youths from ANYA-EKDU, joined the historic rally, marking a strong display of unity and determination. The march aims to highlight key public concerns and is expected to draw widespread attention.

The East Kameng Social Welfare & Cultural Organisation (EKSWCO) has constituted a committee to investigate allegations of corruption and irregularities in the multi-crore land compensation under the Lada to Sarli Frontier Highway Project (Packages 1-5).

A four-member committee has been formed with Shri Chopa Cheda Gyadom as Chairman, Adv. Anil Rebe, Shri Kumar Sonam, and Adv. Tutu Dolo as Members.

The move follows persistent complaints of fraudulent compensation disbursements affecting local communities in East Kameng district.
