ll Unwavering Devotion in Shravan: Carries 135-kg Kanwar to Deoghar Jyotirlinga ll

During the holy month of Shravan, devotees of Lord Shiva express their unwavering faith in various ways — some perform arduous dandavat pilgrimages, while others take part in the fast-paced Dak Kanwar Yatra. Among these passionate devotees stands a shining example of devotion: Asmit Singh, a young man from Housing Complex, Ward No. 29 of Serampore Municipality.

Asmit undertook an extraordinary journey by lifting a 135-kg Kanwar from Sultanganj (Bihar) and walking all the way to the sacred Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

Despite the physical strain and long distance, Asmit completed the pilgrimage with sheer determination, deep faith, and unwavering devotion. His feat has not only become a symbol of spiritual commitment but also serves as an inspiration to thousands of other devotees.

Hooghly Rural Police : Businessman's Axis Bank Account Hacked, ₹27 Lakh Stolen via RTGS; Mastermind Arrested from Noida

In a shocking case of cyber fraud, a businessman from the Pandua police station area in West Bengal’s Hooghly district became the victim of a sophisticated hacking operation. His Axis Bank account was hacked, and around ₹27 lakh was siphoned off through RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) in a well-planned manner.

Acting swiftly, the Cyber Crime Cell of Hooghly Rural District Police arrested the main accused from Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, police are on the lookout for three other accused who are still at large.

According to the investigation, the stolen funds were transferred into four different bank accounts, and in one of those accounts, a large portion was used to purchase gold and other valuables.

Preliminary findings suggest that the fraud was carried out by a well-organized cyber crime gang, likely operating across multiple states. Authorities are now examining the trail of transactions and the network of bank accounts used.

Police say further arrests are likely soon.

Poor Hygiene in 2AC Coach of Chambal Express, Passenger Complains of Cockroach Infestation – No Action from Railways Even After 2 Hours

A passenger traveling from Howrah (HWH) to Vindhyachal (BDL) on the Chambal Express (Train No. 20975) shared his PNR: 6655677435, reporting a severe hygiene issue in the 2-tier AC coach (2A, Coach A1).

According to the passenger, the coach was infested with cockroaches, and there was a strong foul smell inside, making the journey extremely uncomfortable. Despite registering a complaint via the official Indian Railways helpline number 139, no action was taken even after two hours.

He questioned, “If this is the condition of an AC 2-tier coach, what must be the state of sleeper and general coaches?” The passenger urged the railway authorities to take immediate action and address the cleanliness issues seriously.

This incident raises serious concerns about sanitation standards and complaint response mechanisms on Indian Railways.
