The Telangana state government has taken an excellent decision. To expedite plans related to the development of Future City, it has appointed a capable and most experienced chief city planning officer. Mr Devender Reddy, who provided exceptional services as Chief City Planner in GHMC and is currently serving responsibilities with HMDA as well as DTCP, has been appointed as the Additional Director of Urban Planning for the Future City Development Authority. Metropolitan Area Urban Development Department Secretary Ilambarithi issued orders to this effect. Accordingly, Devender Reddy assumed additional charge as Additional Director of Urban Planning for the Future City Development Authority on Friday.
