π₯ 100 Days Of Devi Devta Ki Kahaniya β EP 14
π± The Divine Lord Rain Devta β Devta Goli Naag Ji
In the sacred land of Himachal Pradesh, where every mountain has a guardian and every stream carries a legend β there lives a deity whose connection with nature defies all logic: Meghraj Devta Golinag Ji, the revered Rain God of Rohru-Navar.
On February 16, over 500 villagers gathered at his ancient temple in Pujarli Number 3, pleading for rain and snowfall during a dry winter spell. But Devta Golinag Ji, known for his divine wit, first challenged the people to consult the internetβas if teasing the limits of human knowledge and faith. However, when heartfelt prayers continued and collective devotion intensified, the Devta finally assured them that rain and snow would arrive within five days. And today, just as promised, clouds descended, rain kissed the earth, and snow graced the mountains β a divine prophecy fulfilled before the eyes of believers.
But this is not the first time Meghraj Devta Golinag Ji has displayed such miraculous control over the elements. Go back 128 years, when the mighty Bushahr Kingdom suffered a devastating drought. Fields turned to dust, rivers receded, and famine loomed. The kingdom turned to Golinag Ji. With unmatched spiritual power, he brought rain to the parched lands, saving both crops and lives. Since that day, the people affectionately began calling him βMeghrajβ β the God of Clouds and Rain.
From ensuring timely rainfall to safeguarding water sources, and even delivering divine justice, Devta Golinag Ji continues to be the spiritual heartbeat of the Himalayan highlands. His temple stands not just as a place of worship but as a living embodiment of faith, prophecy, and protection.
Even in the 21st century, where weather forecasts rely on satellites, the people of Himachal still look toward their devtas β and stories like these remind us why. Because here, in the laps of the Dev Bhoomi, science and spirituality coexist, and faith often leads the way.
