Aijaz Mir Joins Volleyball Championship Held in Memory of Pahalgam Attack Victims

Shopian, August 13, 2026:
District President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Shopian, Aijaz Mir, joined the 2026 Volleyball Championship organized by Beyond the Pages Global Foundation in memory of the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.

The programme was held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Chitragram Ground, Molu Chitragram, and witnessed a huge gathering of youth, sports enthusiasts, local residents and supporters.

The championship was organized under the leadership of Karamat Paul, Chairman, Beyond the Pages Global Foundation, along with his dedicated team, as a tribute to the innocent victims of the Pahalgam attack. The initiative aimed to remember the victims with dignity while bringing the youth together through sports, unity and community participation.

The presence of Aijaz Mir was warmly received by the organizers and participants. The event also witnessed significant media presence and coverage, highlighting the message of remembrance, solidarity and youth engagement conveyed through the programme.

Karamat Paul and his team reiterated their commitment to organizing initiatives that promote peace, unity, sportsmanship and meaningful participation of young people in society.
